Q-tip: How to Keep Your Eyebrows in Check Between Waxings

If there is one thing that drives me nuts (well there are a lot of things) it's eyebrows that look like an animal sitting on someone's forehead.  A perfectly coiffed eyebrow can really make the difference between looking good vs. looking like you just don't care.  I must say that most offenders are old men, but I've seen a couple of women out there sporting caterpillars as well.

Below are four easy steps to keep your brows looking beautiful, in between or in lieu of, your professional appointments.

Step 1:  Using a clean mascara brush or eyebrow brush comb your eyebrows straight up.  You can also wet the brush or use a tiny bit of gel to keep them in place.

Step 2:  Locate any hairs sticking above the natural shape of the brow.

Step 3:  Clip those bad boys with a pair of eyebrow or manicure scissors.

Step 4:  Brush the brows downward and clip any hairs falling below the natural shape of the brow.

Always remember to be careful when using sharp objects around your eye area and remember that less is more.  You can easily clip your eyebrows back a bit more, but if you get all Greta Garbo on them it's going to take a long time for them to grow back.
