After a much needed trip to Mexico and wonderful romantic happenings I am back home and it's raining.
Mexico was amazing, the people were beautiful, the colors were bright and the UV rays were kicking. Of course I slathered on sunscreen throughout the day and still managed to come home with a raging case of hyperpigmentation.
I have been battling hyperpigmentation for the last 15 years. I have spots on my upper lip and forehead, which were hormonally induced and on my nose and cheeks from UV exposure. There are a variety of things that can be done to lessen the pigmentation, such as chemical peels, bleaching creams, or pigment suppressing treatments, but one time out in the sun without sunscreen and BAM it's back.
Sigh, weeks of peels and hydroquinone for me.
